Structure Dialogue

The Structure dialogue allows you to create the tree that will be displayed in the estimation table by importing all related levels, the previously selected disciplines linked to them (see Discipline Dialogue), and whether each level is lump sum or not.

Import

This feature lets you import levels from the chosen level.

Selected levels are imported, and new structures are created for each. If a level already exists, the new level is created with a number after the code to avoid double entries (ex.: 1200_1, 1200_2...). Selecting level 2s without a level 1 automatically creates a level 1. If they already exist, level 2s are linked to it. This feature makes it possible to import levels from another source.

*These features are available only if a level has been selected.

Copy
Copies the selected level as well as its children, selected disciplines, and lump-sum status.

Paste
Pastes the copied level under the selected level.

Duplicate
The Duplicate function is similar to copy-paste. It automatically creates a copy of the selected level under its immediate parent.

Delete
Deletes the selected level and all associated data.

Select/Deselect All

Checks or unchecks all disciplines under each level.

Display/Hide All

Opens or closes all levels.

Modification
The level code and description can be modified by double-clicking on the label of the level.

Lump-sum Column
If the button linked to each level is:
* Active: The level takes the lump-sum amount.
* Inactive: The level takes the fee method selected in the settings.
