Properties Dialogue
The Properties dialogue displays a form with fields and information needed for the estimation to work properly. Certain fields are editable, mandatory or pre-populated before the estimation can be created. These fields cannot be modified afterwards.
The most important fields can also be found in the folding panel of the estimation, i.e. the title bar details.
Fields
Ref. Code: Project opportunity number (CRM).
Project ID: Project ID number (CRM).
Title: Name given to the project (CRM).
Project Manager: Person in charge of the project (CRM).
Budget: If the budget is set to Summary, the estimation values are entered at the discipline level. If the budget is set to Detailed, values are entered at the category level. The category group can be found under each discipline selected.

Hours: If this option is set to Summary, fee-type categories are replaced in the estimation with a generic line named Time. If it is set to Detailed, fee entities remain the same.
*This option appears only when the budget type is set to Detailed.
Expenses: If this option is set to Summary, fee-type categories are replaced in the estimation with a generic line named Expenses. If it is set to Detailed, fee entities remain the same.

Template: Project template code. Affects levels that can be imported when creating the estimation structure (see Import).
Client: Name of the client/company (CRM).
Client Contact: Name of contact person at the client's (CRM).
Start/End Dates: Displays the start and end dates for the entire estimation and project. An end date cannot be selected if it comes before the project start date and vice-versa.
Rate: Project markup rate.
Fee Method: Project fee method (only one per project).
